Emma’s Childminding Services

My name is Emma and I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since 2010. I live in Braintree with my husband. My house is within walking distance of the town centre, and the public gardens are just up the road. We have a good-sized garden with a play house.

As well as raising my own three children, I have worked in a busy children’s daycare nursery and really loved working with children whose ages ranged from six months to eleven years old.

I understand that play is something a child enjoys best. A child’s play has a purpose and can be a step towards learning and understanding valuable skills. It helps a child fit into the world physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially, and grow into a healthy and competent individual.

I will endeavour to provide the children with a stimulating environment, where playing and learning go hand in hand. A varied selection of activities will be provided throughout the day, using both indoor and outdoor space.

Consideration will always be taken to ensure that provision is made for children with additional needs and abilities.
